GZ is located at an outcrop of rock, known locally as Mains Rock, which offers glimpses of the geology of the Wellington Fault Line. More information on that can be found by following this link.
If you stand atop Mains Rock, you can look out almost due South over the Hutt River, with views along the river to the East and West. Just make sure you don't lose your footing and end up in the river, and please keep an ever watchful eye on any mini-cachers you may have with you.
Getting to GZ will be your main challenge with this cache. Mains Rock is easily accessible using the gravel walkway/cyclepath that runs alongside SH2, but if you are expecting to be able to drive up close to this cache then...well let's just say this is not a Park 'n' Grab.
If driving, the cache is only accessible when driving south. DO NOT attempt to stop, or park, on SH2 itself. There are a couple of easy access points to drive onto the pathway, the best of which is at WP1 which is the entrance to a carpark. You can currently drive to within about 800m of the cache this way, stopping at WP2, after which you are on foot or bike.
Once at GZ, you are looking for a smallish container, camo'd to hopefully blend in (to the eyes of a Muggle at least). Most cachers should not have any real issue spotting the cache. Please take the time to re-hide it as well as you (hopefully) found it!
There is no room in this container for items of SWAG and/or TB’s. Pease bring along your own scrawling device.
