This cache is a part of a series to recognize buildings, monuments, structures, and areas in Lincoln that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
I can't find much on this historic building but regardless welcome to the Municipal Lighting and Waterworks Plant. This Classical Revival was built in 1921-1922 and designed by Fiske & Meginnis. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 24, 1986. It has since been converted to condos that have incredibly large windows.
The historic MLWP building and GZ sit between the Rock Island Trail and the Billy Wolff Trail. You can park in the Antelope Park lots to the east of posted coordinates. Do not park in the adjacent lot to the west of the MLWP building, it is private parking for residents only.
This is a geotyke oriented mystery, though they most likely will need help retrieving the cache. Please replace as found and use stealth! This cache is designed to be removable from GZ, please take care to slip it back into place as found or better!
