This little hidden right of way is the first in the series of Delgany Heritage Trail caches. It will take you in a loop around a beautiful short walk through Delgany and introduce you to some fairies along the way!
Where is Delgany's only island? The trail will take you down Jacob’s Ladder and you will come to two bridges before arriving at Glenair Manor.
As you negotiate the first bridge, you have stepped onto Jacob’s Island with Three Trout Stream on your left and right.
As you step off the second bridge you have set foot again on the mainland and the stream continues on your left towards the sea at Charlesland. For more history visit here.
