You are standing on top of an underground waterway that provides much of the water for Marshall, Texas. The pipeline flows from a pump station on Big Cypress Bayou just above Caddo Lake into a small holding basin northeast of Marshall where it is routed into the city's purifacation system for distribution throughout the city.
