Geocache Description:

Cachetronomic

The UK has gone through a gastronomic revolution in the last 20-30 years, with our position as the cuisine ghetto of Europe having been transformed to one of international recognition, Michelin Stars and world-renowned chefs. Odd that a country so well known for over 200 years for Wedgwood Plates and Sheffield Steel Cutlery, should have been so impoverished for good food to use them for. However if our food has been lacking then we have other strengths - our over-developed etiquette of eating.

So this little puzzle tests your knowledge of the alternative British heroes of meal times - the manners and instruments of eating.

1    Snail X Cheese = A

2    Look at the picture below;  B = Bad meal   C = Next meal

3    Mr Indoorsman has been invited to a posh restaurant for a lavish fine dining experience, he's looking forward to eating something that's not served in newspaper, for once. A beautiful dish of red snapper arrives, but poor Mr Indoorsman has an etiquette meltdown - what cutlery to use?

Select the appropriate two items of cutlery from his place setting below, and then the appropriate container for the wine of choice to go with his dish.

D = the highest numbered appropriate cutlery item. E = the lowest numbered appropriate cutlery item. F = the appropriate vessel for the wine.

The cache can be found at N 56° 2.ABC' W 3° 43.DEF'.

When you think you know the missing numbers, put the full cache coordinates into the checker below.
