This is a replacement for our previous Cache called "Pyla View" that was distroyed by roadworks and is located about 100m away from the original location. A new Armco Barrier has been erected and there is a safe off road parking area at the end of the Armco Barriier which is about 25m from the new cache. For your own safety please avoid walking on the road.
Pyla is a unique village where both Greek and Turkish Cypriots live together in peace watched over by the UN. In the Village Centre there are both Greek and Turkish shops and taverns. Cigarettes and wine are slightly cheaper in the Turkish shops but if you buy these, please don't be tempted to take them beyond the Village Boundary as you could be stopped by the Greek Customs Authorities and be fined and have your cigarettes or wine confiscated.
