***UPDATE*** Sadly our original cache was stolen. We recently conducted maintenance and replaced the cache and placed it a little further away from the fishing area as I suspect it was stolen by kids or people fishing. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN ATTEMPTING TO FIND THIS CACHE SO THAT OTHERS DON'T OBSERVE YOU AND THEN STEAL IT! We want people to be able to find and enjoy this cache.
This is our first geocache hide! Coopers Rock Lake is a nice nature area that is a short distance off of the Coopers Rock State Park Exit. If you're coming here to find this geocache, be sure to check out the Coopers Rock State Park since you've come this far, you won't be disappointed!
This cache is close to gravel trail so you shouldn't need to break brush to find it. It is in a blue waterproof container about the size of a pop tart box. Accuracy of the GPS coordinates showed +/- 17ft when we placed it.
