As some of you know, I come from London, UK (pronounced Land'n to a Norwegian, not Låndån, however "herlig" it is). I have some relatives in London, some in Devon, some in the West Country and some near Birmingham in the Black Country. And I have friends who speak with a variety of other British and Irish accents.
To celebrate this diversity, here is a little task for you. Below is a list of 8 accents, each assigned a letter from A to H. And below that is a link "ACCENTS" to a sound file. Click on this link and listen to 8 accents. There is a short pause between each accent. Place the letters assigned to the 8 accents in the correct order, in the checker. e.g. HGFBAEDC.
