Welcome to Saltfleet Conservation Area!
Saltfleet is Hamilton's newest conservation area, opening just recently in 2022. The conservation area is quite small, just providing a connector between First Road East and the Dofasco 2000 trail. The size of this conservation area however does not take away from the interesting natural and historical sites to see along the way. The entire conservation area is built on the lands of an old farm property, and as you hike through the conservation area, that should be made extremely apparent. Currently the conservation area is undergoing some construction to create an artificial wetland in some of the areas that used to just be farmers field!
To recieve the final coordinates:
visit the posted coordinates and take a look at the ruins of what seem to be a gatehouse. Take a look for the iron bars in one of the windows (either side of the road works they are both identical).
Take the amount of posts that have a pointed top, multiply this number by 199.8, This number will be A
Take the amount of iron "arches" in the window, add 10, then multiply that number by 82.5, this number will be B
