For years now we have wanted to host a CITO on the day after Halloween to do our part to help clean up our town after everyone goes all out to give the extended community a great Halloween experience. Unless you've seen it, it is hard to believe what goes on here. We expect to have about 1200 trick or treaters at our house and we are not even the most frequented spot, and we usually run out of candy about 8:30-9pm. We have neighbors who have given out more than 7000 pieces of candy! Well kids (and let's be honest sometimes adults) being kids, they just have to try some of that delicious candy right then and there...and what do you think happens to that wrapper? You got it. That is where we come in. We will be at GZ at 8am with trash bags. Please bring your grabbing tools and come help us clean up Water Street Park and surrounding environs: Honeysuckle, Longmeadow Park, Golfpark, wherever the trail of wrappers might lead you.
This is our first time hosting a CITO so we can celebrate that as well, and do our part to say thanks to Celebration residents who make Halloween memorable for a much broader community.
