The beach itself is mostly unsuitable for buggies, young children and anyone with mobility difficulties (though there is a more suitable track just above the beach).
Go to the end of Moor Road, turn to the left and park. Please park considerately as other motorists may be using the beach.
Bags will be provided on the day. At present I have been unable to secure the resources of Keep Northern ireland Beautiful i.e. litter pickers and high viz vests - this might change closer to the date - if you have your own please bring them and gloves might also be useful.
Please respect all the Covid-19 regulations, if you have recently tested postive for COVID-19 or have any symptoms then unfortunately you should not attend this event.
Our thanks to Mourne Heritage Trust for organising the collection of the rubbish.
The weather can't be guaranteed, but let's hope there can be a bit of craic after the clean-up, and a group photo.
