2 - Strolling Along: Ghost Signs in Sanford Mystery Cache

The final cache is NOT located at the posted coordinated. The posted coords do take you to mural 1, but you must solve the puzzle to learn the location of the final container. You can solve the puzzle without going to the seven stages, but coordinates are included, if you choose to look at the murals as you cache.

As you solve the puzzle, you will need to do some short math calculations on some of the stages.

The ghost signs can be walked. If you do, you will see many historic buildings, murals and ghost signs as you stroll.

A ghost sign is an old hand-painted advertising sign that has been preserved on a building for an extended period of time. Whether the ghost signs represent nostalgia for a gone-by era or a memory of Sanford's history, restoring the signage has been welcomed and cheered by the Lee County community.
