Geocache Description:

Are you a woman who likes representation with your taxation? Well here is one of the women you can thank! Right here is the Daughters of the Utah Pioneer's museum (DUP). This building was built by Jane Richards and other local women by selling aggs and butter. Jane was quiet in demeanor and small in stature, however, she became an emormous force for women's right to vote. In 1891, she represented the 25,000 women of the Utah territory at the National Council of Women, giving a speech alongside Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Her work helped lead Utah to become the very first territory to finally allow women to vote.
