Delrico Lamont Anderson
Delrico Lamont Anderson, age 23, was murdered on March 13th 2006. Anderson was murdered while driving on Third street in Alexandria. A vehicle pulled along side the victim and began shooting into the car, striking and killing Anderson.
Anderson was from Michigan, however, he had lived in Alexandria La for 6 years prior to his death.
Anderson and his friends, Royce Taylor, age 25 and Christopher Thomas, 19, were returning home from a night clubbing in Avoyelles Parish (Secrets in Mansura and in Marksville, Jackies). At around 4:30AM a silver/grey Chevy Lumina pulled up and opened fire on Anderson with an AK47.
Taylor and Thomas were not injured, however Anderson died in route to the hospital from the Bullet that entered his left shoulder. The police believe that Anderson may have known who shot him.
