Babson Outing Club (BOC) Cache No. 7 - Horn Library Cache
Important:
In order to find this cache, you will have to enter Babson College's Horn Library. This cache has been placed with the knowledge, permission, and assistance of the library director. However, the college often employs muggle students; DO NOT attempt to get any help or clues from the front desk. This will compromise the cache.
Additionally, there are many areas of the library only accessible to students or staff members. The cache is not located in any of these areas nor are any clues to the field puzzle. DO NOT attempt to enter these areas - this includes the upper areas of the library reserved for students. If you are in doubt, ask the front desk if you are allowed to enter a specific area.
The Cache:
Heading to the posted coordinates will lead you to the entrance of Babson College's Horn Library. The cache IS located here - however, you will have to solve a simple field puzzle before you reap the rewards of my geocache!
To begin, you must do your homework - this is an academic institution after all! For your assignment, please find the following answers using whatever means suit your fancy:
1) Babson has a post office on campus. It is located at XYZ Forest St.
2) Our college's founder was born in July 6th, 18AB
3) Our college legally became a graveyard thanks to a vote done by the Town of Wellesley on March CDth, 1931
4) Thank to that town vote, a woman by the name of Nona is buried on campus: she died in 196E
Now, finally, create a GPS waypoint at a bearing of XYZ+CD+E at a distance of AB meters from the posted coordinates. These are the coordinates to the first physical stage of the library cache - which you will need to travel to in order to receive your next instructions.
Due to part of the cache being disrupted, a new version of the first physical stage can be found at XYZABCDE.netlify.app for the time being.
Once you have completed every stage, the final geocache itself can be found hiding at αβγδεζ inside the library. FTF Prizes are a Babson 100th anniversary enamel pin, a roll of pretenciously academic violet flavored mints, and some equally fancy Chinese Pu-Erh tea, courtesy of Babson Tea Club.
