Geocache Description:

A two hour drive from Las Vegas to the heart of gold and silver mining of almost a century ago. No casinos here. You'll enjoy the walk back in time.

While heading to the container caches at the Murals, please stop in town for this quick and interesting cache. You will need to answer two questions from the information found at this location. First, you may want to use your imagination as to what vehicle may have last patronized these pumps. Maybe it was an Edsel! There are 3 pumps. Facing them from the street, study the left pump. E-mail me the brand name of this pump and the total sales figure. As a bonus you may tell me the brand name of the middle pump and the total gal. sold. I will give you credit for either pump details. Don't post any messages on the logs that will give away any of the numbers or brand names, please. Please visit the visitor center and small museum there. Buy a souviner, walking stick or a big bottle of water for 77 cents (as of 10/12/02). Another point of interest is the cemetery. I love to visit Chloride and all the nooks and crannies here. I always shop at the Silversmith Shop. Great prices. Have a good time.
