According to the Carpenters, rainy days and Mondays always get you down. Join us on a Monday and a 57 % chance of a rainy day (according to NASA's MERRA-2 data since 1980) and prove the Carpenters wrong!
It is our last evening on this trip before we visit the HQ and fly home on Tuesday. The time in the centre of the Universe is insignificant, so we have thrown our watches away. But we expect to be at this establishment, known to locals and aliens, on Monday, November 21, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. There will be a small raffle draw with Slovenian geocaching prizes (that may or may not be trackable) before the official end of the event.
We are geocachers from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. A small green country bordered by Austria (N), Hungary (E), Croatia (S) and Italy (W). See map below. Commonly mistaken for Slovakia, which is approximately 894 straight line power-trail caches to the NE on the other side of Hungary.

We live in the same neighbourhood, and our paths were crossing briefly now and then in pre-geocaching life (bojank and icabrian live on the same block three houses apart while sons of kompaski and icabrian were classmates in primary school). We probably wouldn't have become friends and travelled together without geocaching. And yet here we are, having fun on a short tour of legendary geocaching places in the Pacific Northwest. A nice story. But, we are confident, not in any way unique in geocaching. We are active members of the Slovenian Geocaching Club and were actively involved in hosting the first mega-event in Slovenia.
Now, come to our event and tell us something about yourself.
