This is basically a survey of trail usage.
The cache location is just about the halfway point of Elk Camp Trail so I figure that you must be serious if you log this cache. I don't think that this trail gets much use and this is just a way for me to find out how much. You can either start on road 18N10 off the Gasquet Toll Road from the Gasquet side (The trailhead is at the end of the road and it takes off on the right hand side of the landing as you enter. Don't take off on the cat road.) or you can start from the same road on the 18N09, either way it's uphill, hence the difficulty factor. It took us 3-1/2 hrs. Once you're on top there are some great views in all directions. The cache consists of a sign--tell me what it says.
