The cache is not at the posted coordinates You will have to follow some letterbox style directions or set a bearing in order to find the stash. Please do not remove the stamp or the markers. The cache is placed on Pennsylvania State Game Lands. Please follow the rules and regulations and do not interfere with an active hunt.
All Geocachers have a Geocaching Birthday... It's the day that you joined Geocaching.com My Geocaching Birthday is the 30th of October. This Geocache has been placed on the twelfth anniversary of my joining the global treasure hunt game known as Geocaching. Enjoy the hunt!
Posted coordinates put you at a trailhead and your starting point. Follow the trail for 32 paces or until you come upon a fallen tree that has a base that looks somewhat like an eight point star (see picture) on the right side of the trail. At this point there are two methods of continuing, 1) Look to your left and find three cut stumps, about fifty feet away from the "star end log". The two stumps to the right (see picture), the smaller stumps will serve as a funnel. Once at the stumps, position yourself between them and walk another 6 paces ( same direction) beyond the two stumps. Or 2) Set a bearing of 335 degrees and walk 90'. Either way you should come upon an older and larger tree top on the ground. The container is in the "Y" of this tree top.
Included in the container is a "Happy Birthday" stamp and markers, these items are to stay in the cache.
