This bridge on the New Almaden Trail was the site of one of my earliest cache finds on my first caching visit to Almaden Quicksilver back in 2014. I still remember how much fun I had on that hike. When I noticed recently that it had been archived, I decided to leave something new for future cachers to find. It should be a quick and easy find, and it's only a short walk from the McAbee entrance. (I may have slightly underestimated the distance by applying the <1km attribute, but if so, not by much.) When you get there, you'll see that there are four likely options. The cache is hidden under the most easily accessible of these options. There is no steep jump or bushwhacking necessary.
You're looking for a small Snaplock container with bark and rocks for camo.
Trail hours are sunrise to sunset. Happy hunting!
Congrats to masawit on the FTF!
