You can drive your family car to within quarter mile of this cache. The cache is hidden a safe distance away from the canyon rim.

WOW!! The view from this point is well worth the drive! This view has been in the making for 8 to 12 million years when volcanos were creating the basalt and ryolite. About two million years ago, the river started chipping away at the rock along fractures creating today's steep canyon walls. These walls rise to 1200 feet above the river channel. Hope you enjoy.
