For Juliana Ward's Gold Award project she built a Paver Memorial Garden in the Susan E Lurton Dog Park. At the center of this garden is a large dog bone statue. Surrounding the statue are engraved pavers dedicated to people's pets.
This is part of a Gold Award Cache Series completed as part of a Gold Award project. A series of geocaches have been placed in the area recognizing historical women and Girl Scout Gold Award projects.
This was placed with permission from the City of Orono. You do not need to leave the parking lot to retrieve the cache. If you plan to enter the dog park you will need to purchase a dog park pass.
