Antefix: Leider wurde auf die Reviewer-Notiz bislang nicht geantwortet. Deshalb erfolgte heute die Archivierung dieses Caches, d.h. er wird nicht länger auf den Listen auffindbarer Geocaches geführt. Sollten sich neue Aspekte ergeben nimm bitte Verbindung mit mir auf, die Archivierung lässt sich innerhalb von drei Monaten noch rückgängig machen, sofern in der Zwischenzeit kein anderer Cache zu nahe kommt.

Geocache Description:

Das Cache liegt oberhalb von Urnäsch im Appenzellerland mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Fürstenland, den Bodensee und natürlich der imposanten Sicht auf den Säntis.

The Cache is situated above Urnäsch in the country of Appenzell with a wonderful view over the Fürstenland, the lake of Konstanz an of course on impressive to view over the Sätnis.

Startpunkt ist der Parkplatz beim Restaurant Blattendürren bei N47 17.805 / E09 17.859. Dort kann man sich entscheiden, ob man den direkten Weg zum Cache nehmen oder einen Umweg über die Petersalp machen will. Direkt geht es via Abzweigung bei N47 17.493 / E09 17.581 zum Cache bei N47 16.933 / E09 17.948 (ca. 1 Std.). Will man die Alpenwelt noch etwas mehr geniessen, nimmt man den Weg über Herrendürren bei N47 17.774 / E09 18.416, Dürrenspitzli N47 17.408 / E09 18.015 und Petersalp N47 17.170 / E09 18.403. Für diese Route benötigt man ca. 2 Std. Das Cache befindet sich auf 1400m Höhe inmitten der unberührten Alpenwelt. Ein Platz zum Braten einer Wurst ist auch in der Nähe. Wer dann immer noch nicht genug hat, besteigt noch schnell das Spitzli N47 17.019 / E09 17.557 und kehrt auf diesem Weg zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.

Starting point is the car park at the restaurant Blattendürren at N47 17.805 / E09 17.859. There you can decide, whether you want to take the direct way to the Cache or an other way over the Petersalp. The direct way takes you over an intersection at N47 16.493 / E09 17.581 to the Cache at N47 16.933 / E09 17.948 (about 1h). If you want to enjoy more of the mountains, you'll choose the way over Herrendürren at N47 17.774 / E09 18.416, Dürrenspitzli N47 17.408 / E09 18.015 and Petersalp N47 17.170 / E09 18.403. For this way are needs about 2h. The Cache is situated on 1400m in the middle of the nature. A nice spot for a bbq is not far. The one who is still hungry for more adventure is able to go further to the Spitzli N47 17.019 / E09 17.557 and then back to the starting point.
