Geocache Description:

Avernar puts it in 4 low.... and engages the rear lockers

GCP173 has been on my todo list for a while. When northernpenguin and I were comparing our 81 Proof candidate lists we noticed this one was on both. So this one and two others caches became the focus of our adventure. Northernpenguin mentioned to the BFL crew that we were skipping our usual Friday outing for a big adventure on Saturday. Even though he was light on the details at first, the crew jumped on it like a pack of rabid dogs.
So northernpenguin, Chris-Mouse and Jeff-Trex loaded into my Jeep for the adventure. We were going to meet emzernask, Brain21, Team Goju and geob.o.b at this cache. We thought the other vehicle was ahead of us so we drove on in when we got to the trail-head. It was definitely a fun ride in. While low gear and lockers weren't strictly necessary, they made quick work of the rocky hills along the trail. I parked the Jeep about 30m away but after closer inspection I could have backed it in right next to the cache.
After taking a few photos we decided to head back to the start to see if the other group was there waiting for us. We met them about half way and told them we were heading to Ode to Incubus next and to meet us there.
How did the BFL crew jump on idea of this adventure (6 words)?
