A continuation of the cache placements along a utility trail. Purchased a bag of these plastic screwtop coin tubes for inserting log books to be placed in larger containers. We turned them over to my younger sister Kimmie, the family artist, to do with as she wished. This is the third hide displaying one of her masterpieces.
Oh dem bones!
After challenging this trail, you may feel all dem bones! First stop out of several caches along this trail leading to a scenic overlook to the north end of Auburn and the Cascades to the east. Enjoy the hike and the view! Caution: the fencing around the perimeter of the hill at the end of the trail is down in places so be sure to cache in daylight.
Unfortunately someone has been taking cache containers in the Auburn and Federal Way area so we decided to create "replaceable" replicas of Kimmie's artwork with printed labels. We were very disheartened to lose Day Sleeper (Kimmie Kache #2) to the cache-napper and have replaced that tube with a similar printed label.
Note: FTF gift is a Kimmie Rock, hand-painted to match theme and this one is located with the cache. Room for swag and trackables.
