Another in my steady stream of caches which I think have great vews, of a variety of things. This is number 5 in my series of POV, Point Of View caches, maybe I will stop at 10! This time it's a trig-station incongruously situated at the side of the Ashhurst Road looking across to Wharite Peak and the Manawatu wind-farm on the ranges. Not a particularly high-point as such, but the trig conveniently enables the hosting of this cache.
When I placed the cache I parked across the road on the wider pull-in outside the Hiwinui Country Estate, nice and safe there. There is a small ditch in front of the trig itself, take care with wee cachers as this can be a busy road.
