This Cache Floods. Really, it does. When we moved here, we were told that the bridge goes under once every ten years. It's been 11 years and this bridge has gone under five times?
Two of those times were in one year! (Spring and Fall). Luckily, the crossing to the East of here has only gone under once in that time (Spring of 2022). The cache is meant to get wet but the log is rite-in-the-rain just in case. There is a quick release button on cache rope if you need better access to it. Please replace it as you found it, and don't drop it into the river. Lol.
2023 update- six times and the flood destroyed the original cache. Too much banging into the bridge from the current, I think. Replaced in June 2023 with a temporary container. I intend to permanently replace it with a flood-proof container, once I figure out what that would be.
