The submarine Ahi Dakar, fleet number T-77, is a submarine in the service of the Israeli Navy. The submarine originally served as HMS Totem, in the British Navy, and entered service towards the end of World War II. In 1965, Israel purchased the submarine. She was renovated at the Portsmouth shipyards, manned by an Israeli crew trained by the British Navy, and set sail for Israel on January 9, 1968. On her way to Israel, on January 25, the Dakar sank for an unknown reason, and all 69 of her crew perished.
