About this cache: Welcome to the "Fireman's Memorial".
The Michigan State Fireman's Association erected the Fireman's Memorial statue in Roscommon in 1980 to honor Michigan's fallen firefighters.
This memorial is dedicated to the members of that unselfish organization of men and women who hold devotion to duty above personal risk, who count sincerity of service above personal comfort and convenience, and who strive unceasingly to find better ways of protecting the lives, homes and property of their fellow citizens from the ravages of fire and other disasters.
A memorial service is held at the site annually the third weekend of September, followed by the Firemen's Memorial Festival held at the Firemen's Training Grounds in Roscommon.
You are looking for a cache that signals to these brave men and women that their services are needed.
