Pruning in Pishiobury Park

For this CITO, we will take part in Hazel coppicing in Pishiobury Park, near Sawbridgeworth, Herts.
We will meet at the posted coordinates, (the park's car park) just before 10am, sign the logbook then begin coppicing the Hazel.
We will work on for about 90 minutes, though you are welcome to leave earlier or stay later!
Attendees will be required to wear a hard hat, (provided.) All other equipment required will be also be provided, but please bring your own gloves.
Please also wear appropriate clothing and sensible footwear. The event will proceed in any weather unless there are high winds or storms. If the event is cancelled for any reason, I will make an announcement accordingly.
Car parking is available for free at the posted coordinates as well as at the posted waypoint. Car parking on site is free.
As this CITO falls between 1st September - 30th November 2022, there will also be the opportunity to collect the CITO 2022 Season 2 souvenir by attending this event.
IMPORTANT:
Please bring your own gloves
Ideally leather, otherwise as strong as you have!
Please indicate your ‘will attend’
...so we have an idea of numbers and you will receive any updates to proceedings. Experience has shown this is often the case!
Health and Safety
All health and safety rules apply. A health and safety briefing will be provided on the day. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
