The Zillmer Ski trails offer the opportunity to hike or ski rolling hills. Work up that appetite on a dewy spring morning, hot summer evening, or crisp fall afternoon for some PIE!
This series is placed along the Zillmer Ski Trails within the Northern Unit of the Kettle Moraine Forest. Please follow all posted rules & regulations including NO HIKING in winter when the trails are groomed for XC skiing. These geocaches are seasonal and are not accessible on foot after the first significant snowfall until the ski season is finished (typically mid-March).
Shoofly Pie wasn’t a known pie to me. The starring flavor is molasses. I suspect it would be avoided by the younger crowd just like gingerbread cookies. As molasses continues to fall out of style, this pie makes me think of a grandma, or of southern folk. You are looking for a regular camo container off the yellow trail.
