Up in Middlemarch area with MinionOne and MinonTwo for a roadtrip with a picnic basket in tow.
In the back of the toilets we spotted a poster advertising the old stone cottages around the area. We found through https://www.middlemarch.nz/activities/tours-and-drives.html the free self-drive map below.
We took a drive along the Western then Eastern trails and decided how could we not share some of these intresting locations with others.
So some caches were placed along the way... with gaps for others to look at filling in.
The Cottage is sitting on private property, but you can get a good view of the building from the road, there is plenty of parking along the road without blocking the gates.
