I was out hunting all of Barondriver’s caches in the area and noticed this cross. I remember seeing it before but never checked it out. I stopped and decided this would make a nice easy virtual. There is quite abit of history in this little area.
At the base of the cross you will find two stone markers. Read the large one to learn about Father Padilla. On the smaller of the two markers notice the year listed.
