This cache has been placed for the 2023 Calgary Spring Fling Event with the intention that it not be located prior to 8:00 am on Saturday, March 18th, 2023. The caches for this event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes and strategies prior to the event start. Feel free to find as many or as few caches as you can and want. During the hunt, please document the time of find in the logbook. This makes things more interesting by informing subsequent finders how close they are on your tail.

Background
Welcome to my series of odd and miscellaneous challenges.
With the event explosion/extravaganza/or whatever you want to call it happening right now during this year's Spring Fling event, it seemed appropriate to publish this challenge during Spring Fling as well. As it turns out, we only just qualified this challenge ourselves earlier this month. Perfect timing! Let's see how many others qualify now.
The Challenge
There are 365 days in the year, not including Leap Day, which means a half year or 6 months is 365 / 2 = 183 days. To qualify for this challenge, you must have attended events (of any type) on at least 183 days of the year.
The Requirements
Some more things about the challenge to be aware of:
- These event types can be used to complete this challenge - regular, CITO, mega, giga, HQ block party, HQ celebration, and lost and found/community celebrations.
- In the past, events could be logged on dates different than the actual date the event was held so this challenge uses the event's Placed aka Hidden Date for its criteria.
- Only the placed day and month matter for this challenge. The year is irrelevant so this challenge does not need to be completed in any one year.
- Leap Day aka February 29th can be used as one of the 183 days required for this challenge.
- This is not a streak challenge. The events do not have to be consecutive in any way. And the order you attend these events is irrelevant as well.
- Past events count.
The fine print
CO reserves the right to make any changes to this challenge if any issues or ambiguities are discovered. CO will be fair but has the final say on any events, caches, finds, or logs that are questionable. CO reserves the right to delete any logs if problems are found.
Finding This Cache
Please remember to be respectful of the cache location. Be aware of how and where the cache is "attached" so that it can be put back in exactly the same way and in the same place for the next person(s) to enjoy. Only the "inner" portion of the cache needs to be removed to log the cache. The container may not be accessible during the winter months.
Logging This Cache
As with any challenge caches, you are welcome to physically sign the log for this cache and log it as "Write Note" if you haven't met the challenge's requirements yet. Please bring your own pen(cil)/writing instrument to sign the log.
