A traditional cache placed in a location that overlooks the stone row and several prehistoric burials on the slopes of Cosdon. The container has been placed a short distance from the archaeology and afford a good view of both features.
The stone row is one of the most impressive in the county consisting of 127 stones laid over 146 metres. Historians have differing opinions on the purpose of these stone rows, why not include your theory in your log entry?
At the western end of the stone row are several burial sites. Many take the form of cists with stones placed upright to form walls above which a large flat stone forms the lid. Others take the form of small cairns which would be placed over the site the body was laid to rest. This area has a lot of burial sites and they are very easy to spot.
