Another chance to help clean some basura (trash) from a small part of the bosque, officially part of the Rio Grande Valley State Park - "managed cooperatively by the city Open Space Division and the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District."
This CITO event runs from 10:00 to 11:30 or so, giving you time to shop early or sleep in! Any time you can spend helps!
Garbage bags and some water will be provided. I will also bring non-latex plastic gloves if needed. Bring grabbers, buckets, extra water, and gloves if you want them. Sun protection is recommended even this time of year and closed-toe footwear is a must.
Posted coordinates are for parking and gathering near the National Hispanic Cultural Center off Avenida Cesar Chavez SW.
Of course all logging attendees will earn the background Cache In Trash Out® CITO 2022 Season 2 souvenir!
