
Graham Creek Nature Preserve is a City of Foley park managed by the Environmental Department that provides educational, and recreational opportunities for the community.
The Preserve is home to hundreds of plant and wildlife species, among almost 500 acres of natural habitats including pine savannas, bottomland wetlands, mixed forests and tidal marshes. The Preserve offers a canoe / kayak launch, an extensive trail system, including a 5K cross country trail and shorter ADA trail. They also have three separate disc golf courses, picnic areas, swings and bird watching areas. Trails cross multiple habitats where visitors can see rare carnivorous plants and wildflowers year round.
The park area also boasts large populations of wildlife and birds who make the preserve their home, designating Graham Creek Nature Preserve as as official stop on the Alabama Bird Watching Trail.
Hours are dawn until dusk daily, for all our outdoor activity areas. Nature Center hours are 10-4 Monday through Friday, 10-2 Saturdays (closed Sundays).
