DE - Der Marinzenlift verbindet Kastelruth mit der Marinzen Alm auf 1.469 Metern Höhe. Sie liegt oberhalb von Kastelruth am Hang des Puflatsch, am nordwestlichen Rand der Seiser Alm. Der Marinzenlift wurde um 1969 als Korblift mit offenen Körben für bis zu drei stehende Personen gebaut. 1986 erfolgte der Umbau zum 2er-Sessellift, 2024 wurde er dann zur Umlaufbahn für bis zu 10 Personen. Während der Fahrt genießt man eine herrliche Aussicht über Kastelruth und das Schlerngebiet.
Von 1974 bis 2017 war der Lift auch im Winter in Betrieb. Drei Kilometer Piste standen für Skifahrer und Snowboarder zur Verfügung, sogar FIS-Rennen wurden hier abgehalten. Legendär waren die 24-Stunden-Rennen von 1999 bis 2007. Aufgrund der steigenden Temperaturen, des Schneemangels und der steigenden Kosten wurde der Winterbetrieb eingestellt. Im Sommer und Herbst ist der Lift weiterhin für Wanderer in Betrieb.
Marinzen ist auch über den Wanderweg Nr. 4, auf dem ihr euch gerade befindet, in etwa einer Stunde leicht erreichbar.
IT - La Marinzen funivia collega Castelrotto con l’Alpe Marinzen, situata a 1.469 metri di altitudine. Si trova sopra Castelrotto, sul versante del Monte Bullaccia, al margine nord-occidentale dell’Alpe di Siusi. È stato costruita intorno al 1969 come impianto a cestelli aperti per tre persone in piedi. Nel 1986 è stato poi trasformata in seggiovia à due posti e nel 2024 è diventato una cabinovia per 10 persone. Durante la salita si gode una splendida vista su Castelrotto e il massiccio dello Sciliar.
Dal 1974 al 2017 l’impianto era in funzione anche in inverno. Erano disponibili tre chilometri di piste da sci e snowboard, dove si sono disputate anche gare FIS. Leggendarie le gare di sci e snowboard di 24 ore, svoltesi tra il 1999 e il 2007. A causa dell’aumento delle temperature, della scarsità di neve e dei crescenti costi di gestione, l’attività invernale è stata cessata. In estate e autunno la cabinovia rimane in funzione per gli escursionisti.
L’Alpe Marinzen è raggiungibile anche a piedi in circa un’ora lungo il sentiero n. 4, sul quale vi trovate attualmente.

Built around 1969 as a basket lift with open carriages for up to three standing passengers, it was converted into a chairlift for 2 persons in 1986 and upgraded in 2024 to a gondola lift with cabins holding up to ten people.
