Diese zwei Beregnungskanäle wurden zur Bewässerung des Kulturgrundes in Hanglage, jeweils orographisch links und rechts des Saldurbaches oberhalb Schluderns, angelegt. Beide "Waale" werden zusammen in einer Schlucht des Saldurbaches gefasst, und teilen sich kurz darauf rechts zum Leitenwaal, und links zum Berkwaal. Entlang der gesamten Strecke führt ein Teil des Sonnensteig als Wanderweg. In diesem Falle beginnt die Wanderung beim Ganglegg, deren Zugang zu Fuss vom Dorf Schluderns oder vom Sonnensteig aus Mals kommend, erfolgt. Die gesamte Weglänge zum Finalpunkt beträgt 4,16km und ist in 1,5 Stunden zu bewältigen. Am Endpunkt kann man an der Churburg vorbei, nach Schluderns herabsteigen, oder weiter auf den Sonnensteig wandern. Hinweis:Pro Station eine Buchstabennummern kombination!

Questi due canali di irrigazione sono stati installati per irrigare il terreno coltivato sui pendii, orograficamente a sinistra e a destra del fiume Saldura sopra Sluderno. Entrambi i "Waale" sono presi insieme in una gola del fiume saldura e poco dopo si dividono nel Leitenwaal a destra e nel Berkwaal a sinista. Lungo l'intero percorso, che e´parte del Sonnensteig, conduce un sentiero escursionistico. In questo caso, l'escursione inizia a Ganglegg, raggiungibile a piedi dal paese di Sluderno o dal Sonnensteig proveniente da Malles. La lunghezza totale del percorso fino al punto finale è di 4,16 km e può essere completata in 1,5 ore. Alla fine si può scendere passando dal castel Coira fino a Sluderno o continuare l'escursione sul Sonnensteig. Nota: Ogni stazione e´ una combinazione di lettere numero
