TARREN Y PISTYLL
TARREN Y PISTYLL is located in a beautiful part of Trehafod - tucked away behind the train station on the Burma road to Llwyncelyn.
Nestled directly above the waterfall was a small hamlet called Cwm George comprising of 9 houses, which sadly is no more. Offering breathtaking views of the mountains and the mines, this really is the perfect viewpoint to soak in Welsh valley life.
Our family love to walk up the Burma, stop by the waterfall to admire it's beauty and panoramic valley views before continuing on our adventure via the many signposted footpaths in the area.
PLEASE NOTE: Whilst the cache is hidden near to the waterfall, please take care on the road and surrounding verges. Children and dogs should be supervised at all times. The cache is accessible by foot, car or bike either down from Llwyncelyn or up from Trehafod. There is NO parking directly by the waterfall/surrounding area, but plenty of parking is available in Trehafod, with a short walk to the cache.
We hope you enjoy this location as much as we do
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN!
