This location was originally Stage 2 of the Montrose Point: Brick Beach Overlook multi. The overlook is still accessible, but the final location to that multi is now behind a series of private property signs. Since the multi never got much attention, I'm hoping this new version will bring people back to enjoy this scenic location along the Hudson River's eastern shore.
You are looking for a blue bison tube, approximately head-high, back from the high tide line. Hopefully it won't give you too much trouble. After finding it, be sure to go up top and enjoy the view.
