Geocache Description:

Beare Hill Park is considered a natural area park, surrounded by Rouge National Urban Park.  Originally called Beare Road Landfill, the park has been developed to include both easy and intermediate groomed trails for hiking and biking.  Scenic Lookouts are placed along the trails to provide views of the City of Pickering, and the City of Toronto.

The Beare Road Landfill was operational until 1983, when it was capped. It is still managed by the City Solid Waste Management Division as a closed landfill. Since that time, natural regeneration and volunteer tree planting have created rich, natural areas of forest, meadow and wetland habitats used by wildlife, including four species at risk.

Whether hiking or biking on the trails, enjoy the spectacular views at the scenic lookouts as you hike up the trails to the top of Beare Hill where you will have a 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside.

This cache is not at the posted coordinates but is within 1 km.  You will need to solve the following jigsaw puzzle and will be given the coordinates for the final.
