Geocache Description:

A beautiful spot for a picnic break on a journey up Hwy 97. This location is also a popular starting point for raft trips down the Thompson River. Millions of tons rumble within 50m's of cache down one of Canada's main railway links to the Pacific Coast.

The cache contains several items related to river fishing including flies, pliers etc.

Passage to the cache is reasonably safe for adults but children should be kept under close supervision near drop-offs and the water as this large river can be very unforgiving. I personally have lost a friend to it's deceptive power.

Stay off the Railway Tracks.
