This one is by far my favorite cache in our little series. This road leads out to a very beautiful part of Alpena and has a lot of personal stories about it. It's my favorite way to get out toward El Cajon, and I must say, when driving it late at night, it totally is a little spooky. The night we placed it, Audrey, Madi, and I all slid on the ice before placing the cache. We found a perfect little nook in a cedar tree while watching the night sky, the stars were beautiful.
This cache is called Saxophone Trail because my best friend's musical name is Hamilton Rd. and his main instrument is the Saxophone.
I recommend parking near the beginning of the road, it's not too far of a walk and it's really a beautiful area. It's also really hard to turn around once you start going down the trail.
Enjoy this cache! Bring a pencil!
