Can`t Jump Multi-Cache

IBcrashen: Besides the topo changing because of the summer floods, last time I hiked up here the trail was full of poison ivy. Because of the ivy I was thinking of archiving this one. Landslides make it easier to do. Sorry to have to but would feel terrible if someone got it.

Geocache Description:


At one time Duluth was known as the ski jump capital of the USA. Many big meets where held at this ski jump which is now gone, only some footings are around. Always popular as a recreation site the park was host to many a skating and sleighing party. The Fond du Lac Ski Hill opened in 1941 and was the scene of lots of ski jumping contests and other winter activities. After the spring floods in 1972 the ski jump was removed and the erosion damage to the hill was filled, reseeded and planted to prevent further erosion. Park at N46° 40.266 W092° 16.989. The first container is a 6" long 2" PVC black tube with only the coordinates for the second container. To the east the view is the St. Louis River, to the south is Jay Cooke State Park.
