This area was a major centre of Cornish Industry - but that was a few years ago! A reporter, visiting the area for his paper, the ‘West Briton’, commented that on his first view of the area could not believe that the industry that went on there actually went on there. It was so quiet, all he saw was trees. That was over 150 years ago - the trees are still there.
There is only ONE 'official' way to this cache. Do stick to the path and not be tempted to scramble through the woods. Do respect the area
At the time of setting this cache the e-trex was behaving a bit erratic so you may have to revert to geocaching instinct! As the leaf cover develops the gps signal will probally cease to exist! It is more an Autumn or Winter cache.
