În anul 2009 pe 1 decembrie s-a sfinţit locul unei mănăstiri, având hramul Sf. Acoperământ al Maicii Domnului, lângă localitatea Năvodari . Cu lucrările de construcţie şi organizare de şantier a fost însărcinat ieromonahul Brujban Dan – Daniel, preot slujitor al Catedralei “Sf. Apostoli Petru şi Pavel” din Constanţa. Pe terenul donat, în suprafaţa de 1 ha se intenţiona a se construi un complex monahal compus din: biserică, paraclis, trapeză, chili, clopotniţă, arhondaric, aghiazmatar s.a. De asemenea, pe lângă mănăstire se avea în vedere funcţionarea unei case de copii în regim de tabără de vară. Până la sfârşitul anului 2015 s-au realizat: un Paraclis provizoriu; uncorp chilii, trapeză şi bucătărie; uncorp administrativ cuprinzând cancelaria, biblioteca, sala de lectură, veşmântărie, sala sinaxa; Clopotniţa; Altar de vară şi troiţa; bucătărie şi trapeză de vara; un arzător de lumânări; un Paraclis de iarnă cu hramul “Întâmpinarea Domnului” și un grup agrozootehic este compus din grădină, solar, crescătorie de păsări şi raţe, crescătorie de iepuri, crescătorie de porumbei.Toate lucrările s-au executat numai cu fonduri proprii din donaţiile creştinilor din localitatea Constanţa, Năvodari şi Corbu, şi au fost supervizate de un colectiv de specialişti format din architect Teodor Ion, inginer de rezistenţă Oprea Gheorghe, diriginte de şantier inginer Cazacu Gabriel, consultant de specialitate prof.dr.ing. Cazacu Gabriela-Brânduşa; s-au realizat şi transpus în opera de maistru constructor Basa Cristian-Ionuţ, sub directa supraveghere a ieromonahului Brujban Dan-Daniel.
M-am gândit că ar fi un loc bun pentru o nouă cutiuță in Năvodari , un loc nu prea cunoscut de multă lume !

All the works were carried out only with own funds from the donations of Christians in the locality Constanţa, Năvodari and Corbu, and were supervised by a group of specialists consisting of architect Teodor Ion, strength engineer Oprea Gheorghe, site manager engineer Cazacu Gabriel, specialist consultant prof.dr.eng.
