So last year I started this event as a Christmas celebration. Here was the Christmas carole I made up for last year's event:
Twas the night before the night before Christmas and all through the pub
Not a creature was stirring, not even a grub
The beer mugs were stacked, awaiting a pour
When a great clamour arose from the door
In comes Awesnap, Nemo, Binski, and Cherokee Three
The barmaids all were aglee with the tips they may see
Alas, the beers were flowing and the party was hopping
But the tip jars were empty, and the pours they were a stopping
"You will get no more beer" said the barmaids turning red
"You guys are cheap and it is time for you to go home to bed"
So off we all went, not wanting to start a fight
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
Not bad. But I felt the pressure to do another Christmas carole for this year's event. Here it goes (to the tune of "Batman Smells" aka Jingle Bells):
Jingle Bells
Awesnap smells
Cherokee Three laid an egg
The Nemo mobile lost a wheel (literally)
And Binski ran away.
HEY!
Depsite my lack of Christmas carole making, I am a good host. Come join me for the 2nd annual Twas the night before the night before Christmas. It will be held at Cedar Run Brewery. No outside food or drinks are allowed! I will purchase the first round of beverages for all geocachers in attendance! After that, you are on your own (Santa is not made of money). There are drinks beside beer (cider and pepsi products) and there is a food truck. You can come if you are under 21 years of age, but no drinking for you! (And you better be good because Santa is watching...the REAL Santa). Hope to see you there!
