Bradfield War Memorial was unveiled on the 24th August 1919 and contains the inscription;
BE BRAVE FOR THE HELP OF MAN AND JUST FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
It is a stone monument with a three stepped circular base, surmounted by a square plinth and a short obelisk. Unusually, it contains the names of not just those who perished in the Great War, but also those who served and returned. Unfortunately, not all of the lettering remains legible.
The cache is not at the published co-ordinates but a short walk away. To discover the location of the cache you will need to know how many carved stone wreaths there are on the base of the obelisk. You should be able to establish this without needing to enter the churchyard. Call this number X
