MOGA 2023 - Pontiac Grand Am Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

GLC: Thanks to all who visited, and to all who helped maintain this piece of "art". Keeping up with the maintenance on this "trail" has become a nightmare. It was reported that more were missing than were there, so I made a snap decision today to have all of the containers pulled as a couple of friends were willing to do that for me while in the area. (Thank P and TP!) So I hope those of you who got to complete it, enjoys the art. To those of you who were chipping away at it.....sorry!

Geocache Description:

This picture is over a dozen years old and is GLC's only child. Mitchell, in front of his first car. Both were cleaned up and ready to head to homecoming festivities. He absolutely LOVED his Grand AM and it lasted him over a decade! Well designed and a perfect first car.

Pontiac Grand Am is a mid-size car and later became a compact car. The Grand Am had two separate three-year runs in the 1970s: from 1973 to 1975, and again from 1978 to 1980. Production of the intermediate sized Grand Am was canceled in 1980 when it was replaced by the Pontiac 6000. The compact-sized Grand Am was reintroduced in 1985 when it replaced the Pontiac Phoenix. It became Pontiac's best selling car.

SPECIAL THANKS TO GLC, BGSCRABBLE, ERICATAYLOR, AFISHOUTAWATER AND AGHUDLEY for all their hard work on this geoart. If not for their help, this would have never happened!! GREAT JOB TEAM!
